Today I received an email from the Sister that lives in my dorm. This is the letter I received:

Dear All,
Lupe, one of our housekeepers, came to me yesterday with a concern; for the second time she found that someone had urinated into one of the small blue recycle cans that are located by the trash/recycle bins on each hall. Stella and Lupe placed these blue cans, with extra trash bags, on each floor to save you from needing to go to the laundry room to get a trash bag. The most recent incident, the blue recycle can was located on the first floor; the previous incident, it was on the second floor. Regardless of who is responsible, this behavior is not acceptable.

I asked Lupe to please remove the small blue recycle cans and to return all the trash bags to the laundry room. If you need a trash bag you will need to go to the laundry room.

I didn't know whether to be disgusted or amused. I was a bit of both actually. I live in the basement so I haven't noticed anything like that. But seriously...who's been peeing in the recycling bins??
